I am so disappointed. I clicked on the article about Jewish communities and found you are encouraging people to relocate to ......where? Phoenix???
I had thought to see some write-ups on Israel. After the president's speech today, you don't think it is time we Jews move in a huge wave to Israel?
My husband and I are moving out of Arizona to our true home, Israel, in a few weeks - I suggest you encourage aliyah to Israel, not towns in the USA. Anti-Semitism is sure to grow, now that everyone knows it's our fault that Iran wants the bomb.

Savannah Georgia is truly a beautiful, warm yiddishe community. We moved here from Brooklyn, thinking we'd be here a year or 2. It's over 28 years & Baruch Hashem my children have the middos tovos (or so say their Rabbeim & teachers) that perhaps they would have missed out on in Brooklyn.
Y'all should come down here & feel the warmth

after reading aliyah bound's comments i would like to defend those of us who dream of israel and can't go home for so many reasons; caring for elderly parents, parnassah, health impediments, the community safety net, etc... Hashem has his plans and timetables for every single creation on earth and i don't know that ou is the forum to promote aliyah as their tachlis has been stationed in chul (outside Israel) since its inception and should it shift its kiruv focus off those thousands of lost souls rooted in the US then those brothers and sisters of ours will all be lost forever and ou's very existence would no longer be necessary and that may not be what's best for klal yisroel as a whole right now... For those of us within individual pockets of respective communities who have blessed to recognize the importance and urgency of going Home- don't worry- one article about new frum communities scattered throughout the land of America will not deter us in any way; and it shouldn't upset you that much because after being in Arizona (or wherever) will slowly bring those jews back in the fold and ultimately back Home as well...
mazal tov on your good news and may we all be zoche to join you when we can...
