Above all, Rabbi Senter was a loyal talmud of Rav Soloveitchik ztz”l. He always went to the Rav’s shiur and he was very much liked by the Rav. Rabbi Senter’s children were once listening to a currently unpublished tape of the Rav from 1961 in which he was learning Hilchos Tefillin.
