Rabbi Moshe Bloom officiated as rabbi of the Jewish community in Warsaw from 2013 to 2017. Currently he is now head of the English department at Torah V'Haaretz Institute, and lectures on practical halacha in English. He also gives educational-agricultural tours at the institute. In addition, he serves as the educational coordinator for Chasalat-Aieh Katif, which manufactures vegetables free of insects and residual pesticides. Moshe Bloom was born in Kibbutz Ma'aleh Gilboa to parents who immigrated from the US. He studied at the Hesder Yeshiva in Yerucham, where he received his rabbinical ordination. He received his B.Ed. at Herzog College and taught Tanach in Yerucham. He serves as an officer and rabbi of a reserves battalion in the Northern Command.
