The reason for this was … I ‘unno. Just sometimes things go awry. But, in case you haven’t noticed, Daf in Halacha is back for tractate Sanhedrin!
The Daf in Halacha series makes Daf Yomi come alive with a wide array of intriguing topics. In just the first few blatt, Daf in Halacha on Sanhedrin has addressed such issues as The Jurisdiction of Today’s Batei Din, How to Respond When Summoned to Beis Din, The Parameters of Semicha, and much more.
Daf in Halacha features an all-star line-up of maggidei shiur, including (in alphabetical order) Rav Avraham Yeshaya Cohen, Rav Dovid Cohen, Rav Dovid Englander, Rav Arye Finkel, Rav Moshe Zev Granek, Rav Yehoshua Greenspan, Rav Yitzchak Grossman, Rav Shmuel Binyomin Honigwachs, Rav Ari Kahan, Rav Shrage Kallus, HaRav Sholom Kamenetzky, Rav Yaakov Rapapport, and Rav Chaim Weg.
We are particularly proud that Rav Menachem Genack, CEO of OU Kosher, delivers a good number of shiurim on topics in Sanhedrin, such as on The Reasons for Making a Leap Year and Building the Beis HaMikdash after Entering Eretz Yisroel. And, coming up in the final perek, you’ll also find shiurium from OU Director of Kosher Education Rav Yosef Grossman, who delivers the OU’s shiurim on Talmud Yerushalmi (which is also learning tractate Sanhedrin).
