The Saddest Time of the Year

The three weeks from 17 Tammuz to 9 Av are a period of increasing mourning. As we proceed through the Three Weeks to the Nine Day to the week of Tisha b’Av, our sorrow intensifies. This is a period of deep introspection as our shortcomings and misdeeds have cost us the Temple, which served as our direct line to G-d.

OU Holidays is replete with shiurim to make your Three Weeks more meaningful. This includes features from some of our most popular lecturers, including Rabbi Yosef Grossman, Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, Shira Smiles, Rabbi Steven Weil, Rebbitzen Yemima Mizrachi, and many others. This year, we are proud to introduce all-new shiurim from Rav Chaim Ilson.

We will be updating content regularly as Tisha b’Av draws closer. On Tisha b’Av, if we have not yet been redeemed, you can participate in the live Tisha b’Av webcast featuring Rabbi Weil and Rabbi Weinreb.

May we experience a nechama and be zoche to celebrate Tisha b’Av in Yerushalayim hab’nuyah.
