Following the success of the recent miniseries on Shiva,  OU Torah is pleased to present another six-part series regarding an important (albeit largely neglected) facet of Jewish life. 100 Brachos a Day by OU Torah editor Rabbi Jack Abramowitz focuses on practical issues regarding the titular obligation.

The first installment, The Origin, was posted on August 30, 2017, and discusses the earliest mentions in Talmud, Midrash and halacha of the practice to recite 100 daily blessings. The second installment, The Nature of the Obligation, will complete the introduction to the topic.

The obligation to recite 100 brachos a day applies to men every day, and maybe to women, too! (We’ll have to see in part 5!) So get started with 100 Brachos a Day now – whether on OU Torah or by using the OU Torah app for iOS and Android – and come back each week for the next installment!
