Students Reprimanded for Bad Behavior at Former Concentration Camp Site

14 Aug 2018

Two Israeli students were expelled from a school trip after being caught on video dancing naked at the site of the Majdanek concentration camp in Poland. Workers at the site caught the pair on video.

This incident is the latest in a series involving misbehavior by Israeli students, including a case of vandalism at Auschwitz last year.

In a statement, the Israeli Education Ministry told Haaretz that it views “with great severity any behavior that could harm the status and values represented by the trips to Poland. In the case in question, due to the students’ improper and inappropriate behavior, disciplinary actions have been taken against them to the fullest.”
