This week, the Orthodox Union was honored to welcome Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, chairman of the executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel, along with his wife, Didi.
Gen. Almog was joined by OU Executive Vice Presidents Rabbi Moshe Hauer and Rabbi Dr. Josh Joseph, OU Kosher CEO Rabbi Menachem Genack, Past OU President Harvey Blitz, OU Israel Executive Director Rabbi Avi Berman, Mr. Tzur Keren and OU Board Chair Mitch Aeder, along with various OU department heads.
OU leadership spoke about the work the OU is doing for Jewish communities across North America, as well as the missions of OU Israel to work with youth across the country and to support English speaking olim.
The leadership group also spoke to General Almog about working on future joint programs and hosting him at OU and OU Israel programs in the field in the near future.
