OU WEST COAST AND YESHIVA UNIVERSITY PRESENT DR. RONA NOVICK, “WHAT DO WE STAND FOR: DEALING WITH BULLYING,” OCTOBER 28 IN LOS ANGELES

The Orthodox Union West Coast Region and Yeshiva University will present “What Do We Stand For: Dealing with Bullying and Building Social Leadership in Our Communities,” featuring Dr. Rona Novick, on Sunday evening, October 28. The program is geared for parents of middle school students and older.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the program will take places at YULA Girls High School, 1619 South Robertson Boulevard, in Los Angeles.

Dr. Novick serves as Director at the Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Doctoral Program at YU’s Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration.

Rabbi Alan Kalinsky, Director of the OU West Coast Region, noted, “Dr. Novick is a distinguished speaker and a regular at OU parenting programs in the New York area. When we found out she was to visit Los Angeles, we were delighted to arrange this event and secure the partnership with Yeshiva University. The topic of bullying is a very important issue to be addressed, and we are thrilled to bring her experience and wisdom to our community.”

Confronting bullying is a major priority of NCSY, the youth arm of the OU.
