In a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman wore specially-made cleats to honor of the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting attack. In a tweet, Edelman displayed the cleats bearing the logo of the Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Congregation — the synagogue where the attack occurred — the words “Tree of Life” in Hebrew, a Jewish star, and the hashtag #strongerthanhate. The tweet also listed the 11 victims of the October 27 attack.

The cleats were sponsored by the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Boston.
