Rav Finkel ably led one of the largest institutions of higher Torah learning in Jewish history. Long handicapped by physical ailments, he was able to nevertheless inspire his thousand of disciples and deeply influence the broader Jewish community.
His gentle demeanor, tireless commitment to harbazat haTorah, and profound erudition were all exemplary, and will be sorely missed.
We offer words of nechama to his family, and to his talmidim throughout the world, many of whom are associated with the Orthodox Union. May his memory be a blessing.
