Beth Tfiloh Congregation, with 1,350 families, is the largest Modern Orthodox synagogue in the United States. It has been a member of the Orthodox Union for a quarter century. Rabbi Weil’s presence is meant to strengthen the bonds between Beth Tfiloh, the Orthodox Union, and the Baltimore Jewish community. In a time of division within the Jewish world and within the Orthodox community, Rabbi Weil was invited to Beth Tfiloh to help bring unity into our community’s midst. Rabbi Weil comes to us not only as an Orthodox leader, but as an Orthodox role model from whom we can all learn and emulate.”
