Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will be leading an OU Community Weekend at Congregation Rodfei Sholom from Friday November 15-Sunday November 17 (Shabbat Parshat Vayishlach).
The OU member synagogue is located on 3003 Sholom Drive.
Rabbi Weil will speak at the Oneg Shabbat on Friday night on the topic “The Two Greatest Challenges Facing the Jewish Community in the 21st century.” Shabbat morning he will be discussing “Men are from Mars, Women from Venus: The State of Marriage in the Orthodox Community.” In the afternoon after Mincha, he will address “Wrestlemania One: The message of the All-Night wrestling match between Jacob and the Diabolical Attacker.” In Sunday’s Chanukah workshop for parents and adults, Rabbi Weil will discuss “The Real Chanukah: Not the Bedtime Story You Learned as a Child.”
