On Friday morning Rabbi Weil will be visiting the Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Boys School. On Shabbat morning he will deliver the sermon at Yeshivat Yavneh. On Sunday morning at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Beverly Hills, Rabbi Weil will be presenting Insights from the Rav on Sefer Breishit – A Launch of the New Masoret Harav Chumash, and will be moderating the closing plenary discussion on Talking Tachlis – Dealing with the Contemporary Challenges Facing Today’s Orthodox Families. The panel features Dr. Yocheved Dubow, Rabbi Reuven Bulka, and Dr. David Pelcovitz.

“Our community is always excited to welcome Rabbi Weil,” said Rabbi Shlomo Einhorn, Dean of Yeshivat Yavneh. “He brings a global vision seldom seen in our generation. I consider him one of my mentors. He communicates his message with a passion and conviction that can move a mountain.”

Said Rabbi Adir Posy, Program Director for the OU West Coast Convention, “Yeshivat Yavneh is a great yeshiva day school that has a wonderful impact on the Los Angeles landscape as it melds the best of Jewish education with the support of the broader comunity. Rabbi Weil’s appearance there for the convention provides recognition of Rabbi Shlomo Einhorn, Yavneh’s Rav and Dean, who has been doing amazing work since his arrival in 2012.”
