Rabbi Weil to Spend OU Community Weekend at Young Israel of Deerfield Beach, December 26-28

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will be leading an OU Community Weekend at the Young Israel of Deerfield Beach from Thursday, December 26-Saturday, December 28 (Shabbat Parshat Va’eira).

The OU member synagogue is located on 202 Century Boulevard.

Rabbi Weil will be speaking on Thursday night on the topic “Red Lines: Judaism Confronting its Greatest Internal and External Challenges.” On Shabbat morning he will be giving his sermon on “Don’t Jew Me.” In the afternoon he will be delivering his presentation on “Nurture, Nature and Destiny: What Ingredients Produced The World’s Most Perfected Human Being.”

Says Rabbi Yisroel Edelman, “The whole community is looking forward to Rabbi Weil’s presentations. We appreciate the impact he has brought to Jewish communities throughout the country and we are delighted to be hosting him as well.”
