15 Sep 2014

Rabbi Steven Weil, senior managing director at the Orthodox Union, will deliver a lecture in commemoration of the Aseret Yemei Teshuva – the Ten Days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur at Yeshivat Noam Middle Schoolat 70 West Century Road, Paramus on Wednesday, October 1 at 8:30 p.m. The lecture is presented by the Yeshiva Noam Parent Education Committee.

Rabbi Weil will present “The Fascinating World of the Yom Kippur Machzor.”

Rabbi Chaim Hagler, principal of Yeshivat Noam, declared, “We are so pleased to be able to provide the Yeshivat Noam parent body with the opportunity to explore the Yom Kippur machzor with Rabbi Weil, who is renowned for his ability to make even the most challenging tefilla more accessible.  Rabbi Weil’s parent-child tefilla presentation at the school last year was extremely illuminating, and I am confident that this Aseret Yemei Teshuva educational opportunity for our parents will truly enhance their spiritual experience of Yom Kippur.”
