Rabbi Steven Weil, senior managing director at the Orthodox Union, will present an OU Community Weekend at the Lido Beach Synagogue on Saturday, August 2 (Shabbat Parshat Devarim). The OU member synagogue is located at 1 Fairway Road.
Shabbat morning Rabbi Weil will deliver a few short words before Torah reading on “A Retrospect on the Rebellion,” and the sermon on “Catharsis.” In the afternoon, Rabbi Weil will be giving a lecture on “Two Infamous Medieval Debates.” During seudat shlishit, Rabbi Weil will culminate the weekend with his presentation on “The Seventh Million.”
