OU’s Rabbi Weil to Speak in Fair Lawn, 3/30-31

RABBI STEVEN WEIL, OU EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TO VISIT FAIRLAWN AS SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE AT CONGREGATION SHOMREI TORAH, MARCH 30-31

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will visit Fair Lawn as Scholar–in-Residence as Congregation Shomrei Torah, Friday, March 30-Saturday, March 31, Shabbat Parshat Tzav (Shabbat HaGadol). The OU member synagogue is located at 19-10 Morlot Avenue.

During a special Friday night dinner at the synagogue, Rabbi Weil will address “The Two Greatest Challenges Facing Orthodox Jewry in the 21st Century.” He will give his popular presentation “Men Are From Mars Women From Venus: The Jewish Version” during the young couples minyan, which begins at 9:00 a.m. During a special Lunch and Learn session, Rabbi Weill will discuss “Fascinating Insights into the Haggadah.” Additionally, he will speak Shabbat afternoon, giving the traditional sermon of the Shabbat before the observance of Passover, discussing “So Strange A Choice.”
