RABBI STEVEN WEIL, ORTHODOX UNION EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TO BE GUEST SPEAKER AT YOUNG ISRAEL OF OAK PARK, MI ANNUAL DINNER, JUNE 3
Rabbi Steven Weil, Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union, will pay tribute to the synagogue and its members where his career first began, returning as Guest Speaker at this year’s Young Israel of Oak Park (YIOP) Annual Dinner on Sunday, June 3. The Dinner, beginning at 5:00 p.m., will honor William and Melissa Berlin for their dedicated involvement within the community. The OU member synagogue is located at 15140 West Ten Mile Road.
Gil Stebbins, YIOP Dinner Chairman, stated, “Rabbi Weil began his entire rabbinic career as the pulpit rabbi of our shul. It is with tremendous pride have we followed his path as a great leader for Klal Yisrael, and it is in caring friendship that he was requested to speak at this year’s Dinner.”
