OU Presents National Live Webcast for Youth Professionals, 9/13, “How to Run a Junior Congregation”

OU SYNAGOGUE SERVICES PRESENTS NATIONAL LIVE WEBCAST FOR YOUTH PROFESSIONALS, SEPTEMBER 13 — “HOW TO RUN A JUNIOR CONGREGATION”

The OU Karasick Department of Synagogue Services | Congregation Support Network will present a live webcast for a national audience on Tuesday, September 13, featuring Effy Braun, Youth Director of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in New York.

The topic of the webcast is “How to Run a Junior Congregation” and will take place at 5:30 p.m. EST, with an audience of youth professionals expected to tune in from across North America. The presentation is directed at youth professionals seeking to build and improve their youth departments.

The webcast is an on-going service of the OU Synagogue Services’ Youth Professionals Network.

Originally from Los Angeles, Effy Braun is a graduate of Yeshiva University and has had five years of experience in educational programming in the New York Metropolitan area. He has been the Activities Coordinator for the Ramaz Middle School since September 2009. Effy, a true sports aficianado, has developed an outstanding reputation coordinating the KJ youth program.
