OU JOB BOARD PRESENTS AUGUST 24 JOB FAIR IN BROOKLYN; INTERVIEWS AVAILABLE IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY

The OU Job Board announces a Job Fair, to be held on Tuesday, August 24 at Congregation Beth Torah, located at 1061 Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn from 4-7p.m. Applicant registration will be open August 10-20 on the Job Board website at www.ou.org/jobs. There is no fee for applicants or employers. Registration is mandatory for applicants; no walk-ins will be accepted.

Employers with available jobs are encouraged to contact Michael Rosner, Director of OU Job Board. If interested employers are unable to attend the Fair in person, the Job Board will provide them with the opportunity to conduct virtual interviews with set appointments via WebEx, an interactive chatroom.

“We are very excited to be providing this amazing opportunity in these tough economic times,” declared Michael Rosner. “It’s a win-win opportunity for applicants and employers to be able to walk out of the Fair at the end of the day with a job now filled by a qualified person.”

From 3-5p.m., the Job Board will also make available the opportunity for resume editing, provided by experienced professionals in various fields. Interested applicants are required to register online in a separate registration from the Fair. Copies of an already-existing resume should be brought the day of the event.

Special guest speakers will be discussing various economic topics and motivational lessons each hour.

Potential applicants can view a list online of available jobs and employers who will be attending the fair.
