OU ISRAEL CENTER IN JERUSALEM INVITES AMERICAN VISITORS IN ISRAEL TO AN OPEN HOUSE, CHOL HAMOED PASSOVER, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4
In recognition that many Americans spend Passover in Israel, the Orthodox Union Israel Center will present an Open House in Jerusalem on the first night of Chol Hamoed (the intermediate days) of Passover, to inform visitors about the wide variety of activities of the Center throughout the country.
The Open House will take place on Wednesday, April 4, Motza’ei Yom Tov Sheni Shel Galut, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at the Seymour J. Abrams OU Jerusalem World Center, 22 Rechov Keren Hayesod. Refreshments will be served.
Guests will hear first-hand accounts from Rabbi Avi Berman, Director General of OU Israel, and his staff and volunteers who interact daily with Israeli civilians and the military, as they bring a multitude of valuable programs to Israelis. In addition, the Center’s programs include a wide array of tiyulim (trips) and shiurim (classes) for Americans.
According to Rabbi Berman, “Once Americans in Israel have concluded their sedarim and are ready for Chol Hamoed activities, their first stop (not long after Havdala) should be the OU Israel Center for a fun evening as our guests. They will walk away with an increased understanding of everything the OU does in Israel, and we believe, a deep appreciation of how the OU changes the lives of our people here.”
