OU JOB BOARD OFFERS COURSES IN COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) THROUGHOUT DECEMBER AND JANUARY

The OU Job Board | Employment and Resumé Opportunities will present a series of online classes in Computer Aided Design (CAD), as part of its popular “retooling skills” courses. The CAD classes will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m EST (5:30- 6:30 p.m. Israel time) on Sundays in December (11, 18, 25) and January (8, 15, 22).

Registration is required, on the OU Job Board website, http://www.oujobs.org. Space is limited, and participants must commit to attending all sessions.

Michael Rosner, Director of the OU Job Board, declared, “People always ask ‘What profession is good to transition to?’ The answer as of today is CAD. CAD is in high demand and starts off with a very good basic salary. Upon achieving expert status you can make well into the six figures with CAD. Of course there is never a guarantee of finding a position, but CAD gives you a real opportunity for a high paying job.”

Taught by Abraham J. Rokach, S.E., P.E., a licensed structural engineer with over forty years of experience, the course will delve in the CAD construction of the Jewish Tabernacle in the desert during the times of Moses. The model will be constructed in 3D design in order to show how CAD can be applied to multiple formats.

Registered students be issued a certificate following completion, along with a free 36-month educational license. There is an administrative fee of $72 in addition to required textbooks.
