The Orthodox Union Job Board will be presenting its Job Fair in Jerusalem on Tuesday, May 13 at the Jerusalem Gardens Hotel, 4 Zeev Vilnai St, Kiryat Moshe. The OU Job Fair is an established, well-regarded resource for employers seeking to fill job openings in and beyond the Jerusalem area.
Admission is free with pre-registration at www.oujobs.org. Walk-ins are welcome with a 50 NIS admission fee at the door. Registration for the public opens Sunday, April 6.
Twenty-five employers have committed to participate at the job fair, with the numbers expected to grow considerably in the next month. Jobs for English speakers will be featured prominently at the fair. Some positions of the employers include web development, sales, marketing, real estate, IT, legal transcribers and graphic design.
Says Michael Rosner, International Director of the OU Job Board, “The OU Job Board is proud to bring another job fair to Jerusalem this May. With a 15% – 25% hire rate versus the common 3-5% hire rate at other job fairs, our job fairs are among the most successful you’ll find anywhere. In terms of how many jobs will be available, our last major job fair in Jerusalem, at the end of 2012, had more than 40 employers, most offering multiple positions, and we hope to surpass that number. And with many jobs available for English speakers, new olim from America will be able to find a lot of great opportunities.”
