OU Chairman Stephen Savitsky to serve as Scholar-in-Residence at Kingsway Jewish Center in Brooklyn

Orthodox Union Chairman of the Board Stephen J. Savitsky will be serving as scholar-in-residence at the Kingsway Jewish Center on Saturday, May 10 (Shabbat Parshat Behar).

Shabbat morning, Mr. Savitsky will give the morning drasha on the topic “The Greatest Gift We Can Give the State of Israel: Stop Assimilation in the Diaspora.” At lunch he will be speaking on “Israel Today: A Look Behind the Headlines.” Before mincha he will discuss “Exploring the Challenges We Face as Orthodox Jews.” During seudat shlishit he will deliver a presentation on “The OU Story: Much More Than Just Kashrut.”

Rabbi Etan Tokayer shared, “The OU plays a critical role in so many ways for our community, and especially for the Religious Zionist community in America. We look forward to the message Mr. Savitsky will bring to Kingsway Jewish Center and the greater Brooklyn community.
