Or, should you prefer to work for the National Hockey League,

He shoots,

He SCORESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

The OU Job Board | Employment and Resumé Opportunities, which posts positions in a wide variety of professional categories, including accounting, has just listed openings for accountants with the New York Mets and the National Hockey League. The Mets’ job, Manager of Reporting and Special Projects, specifies among other qualifications a degree in accounting, with an MBA and CPA a desired plus, but not required. The NHL position, Manager, Finance – General Accounting, in the league’s New York office, requires an accounting/finance degree and CPA and audit experience at a large public accounting firm. Both are certain to entice sports fans who have the requisite background.

The Mets and the NHL join a wide variety of other prestige employers, including the Internal Revenue Service, Deloitte, ADM, Aflac, Aetna, Intel, Bayonne Medical, MTA and many more in using the OU’s Job Board to search for well-qualified candidates.

“You won’t be skating on thin ice to apply for the NHL position, nor will you strike out if you consider the Mets’ job, provided you have the proper credentials,” advised Michael Rosner, International Director of the Job Board. “Both require substantial competence in accounting, with the NHL position being at a more senior level.”

“We are gratified that the Mets and the NHL have joined so many other employers in utilizing the OU Job Board in their searches,” Mr. Rosner said.
