RABBI WEINREB TO PRESENT OU WEEKEND IN HOUSTON AT MEYERLAND MINYAN, THIS SHABBAT
Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, Orthodox Union executive vice president, emeritus, will present an OU Weekend in Houston with the Meyerland Minyan for Shabbat Parshat Ki Tavo, August 23-24.
Led by Rabbi Gidon Moskovitz, the OU member congregation is located at 9606 Chimney Rock Road in Houston.
Following a special congregational dinner Friday night, Rabbi Weinreb will present “Abraham Lincoln and Menachem Mendel of Kotzk: Transforming Psychological Faults into Spiritual Strengths.”
Shabbat morning, Rabbi Weinreb will speak at Kiddish following services, on “How to Forgive and How to Achieve Forgiveness.” He will also speak Shabbat afternoon, addressing “A Spiritual Response to a World in Crisis.”
“I am very excited that Rabbi Weinreb will be coming to Houston,” said Rabbi Moskovitz. “Aside from being a very impactful speaker with great depth, Rabbi Weinreb displays a unique sense of humility and sincerity—that gives his message all the more meaning.”
