Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will be leading an OU Community Weekend at the Beth Israel Congregation of Miami Beach from Friday, January 31 – Saturday, February 1 (Shabbat Parshat Terumah).

The OU member synagogue is located on 770 West 40th Street. Rabbi Weil’s visit for the upcoming weekend has been rescheduled from his planned January 3-4 appearance which was canceled due to the inclement weather in New York.

On Shabbat morning Rabbi Weil will be delivering his sermon on “After The Pew.” In the afternoon before Mincha he will be giving his presentation on “The Longest Running Show on Broadway.” During seudah shlishit he will be speaking on “Educator Par Excellence.”

Rabbi Donald Bixon of Beth Israel Congregation said, “Rabbi Weil is one of the premiere speakers of the Modern Orthodox community, representing one of the premiere organizations of the Jewish world. We are excited to share in his insights, and to continue strengthening our ties with the work of the OU.”
