Rabbi Weil To Present OU Weekend in Long Branch, 8/16-17

RABBI STEVEN WEIL TO PRESENT OU WEEKEND IN LONG BRANCH AT CONGREGATION BROTHERS OF ISRAEL, AUGUST 16-17

Rabbi Steven Weil, executive vice president of the Orthodox Union, will present an OU Weekend in Long Branch at the Congregation Brothers of Israel from Friday, August 16-Saturday, August 17 (Shabbat Parshat Ki Tetzei).

Led by Rabbi Nasanayl Braun, the OU member synagogue is located at 250 Park Avenue in Elberon.

Friday night, Rabbi Weil will speak during a special Shabbat family dinner at the synagogue, discussing “Putting the Fun in Dysfunctional.”

Rabbi Weil will give the Shabbat morning drasha at the synagogue’s 752 Ocean Avenue satellite location, presenting “The Psyche of War: Grappling with the Perplexing Case of the Beautiful Captive of Military Conquest.”

Following 7:00 p.m., mincha services, Rabbi Weil will speak at the seudah shlishit on “Red Lines: The Role We Play in the Likely Military Confrontation with Nuclear Iran.”
