OU’s Rabbi Weil to be Staten Island Scholar-in-Residence at Young Israel, May 6-7

OU’S RABBI STEVEN WEIL TO BE YOUNG ISRAEL OF STATEN ISLAND SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE, MAY 6-7

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will serve as scholar-in-residence at the Young Israel of Staten Island for Shabbat May 6-7, Parshat Emor. The OU-member synagogue is located at 835 Forest Hill Road.

Rabbi Weil will speak during Shabbat morning services on “Much More Than a Priest.” Before Mincha at 6:45 p.m., he will discuss “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus: The Jewish Version.” Shabbat afternoon following Mincha, he will discuss “The Millennial Generation: The Watershed Moment in Jewish History that Changed the Meaning of Sefiras HaOmer.”
