OU’S RABBI STEVEN WEIL TO SPEAK AT RAMBAM MESIVTA ANNUAL FATHER-SON LEARN-A-THON, JANUARY 1

Rabbi Steven Weil, Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union, will speak at Rambam Mesivta’s 20th Annual Father and Son Learn-A-Thon Program on Sunday, January 1, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The high school is located at 15 Frost Lane in Lawrence.

Rabbi Weil will discuss, “A Historical Blueprint for Jewish History: Ramban’s Analysis of Sefer Bereshit.”

Rabbi Zev Friedman , Rosh Mesivta of Rambam, noted, “It is a rare opportunity indeed in today’s busy world when a father is able to spend a significant amount of time with his son doing things together. We, as parents, often have to settle for ‘quality time’ as a means of imparting our values to our children. On January 1, the Mesivta will once again be holding its Annual Learn-A-Thon. Rabbi Weil is one of the most dynamic and engaging speakers today, and it is our privilege to have him join us at our 20th annual Father-Son Learn-A-Thon. I am sure that all will be enlightened by Rabbi Weil, and all will enjoy a truly meaningful morning of learning with our sons.”
