Rabbi Reuven and Shira Boshnack, Directors of the OU’s Seif Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC) program at Brooklyn College, will be presenters on Thursday, December 2, at this year’s International Network of Orthodox Mental Health Professionals, hosted by NEFRESH International. The Fifteenth annual Conference, co-sponsored by the Comprehensive Network, will take place this year from Wednesday, December 1-Sunday, December 4 at the Hyatt Regency Long Island — 1717 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge.

JLIC, a joint initiative of the OU and Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, is found on 15 campuses across the United States and in Canada to tend to the spiritual and personal needs of the increasing number of yeshiva graduates who have chosen to attend secular colleges.

Together with Yeta Solomon, LCSW, the Boshnacks will address “Making I Into We: Holistic Premarital Counseling,” showcasing their skills and curriculum for teaching chatanim and kallot the halachot and communication skills to better prepare them in their adult married lives for years to come.

NEFESH-International is an interdisciplinary organization of Orthodox Jewish mental health professionals providing leadership and interdisciplinary education in the field of personal, family, and community mental health.
