The trip will take place the weekend of June 4-5, Shabbat Parshat Shelach. President Savitsky will be giving a series of talks to the Montreal Jewish community to strengthen the OU’s relationship with the community and see how the OU can use its resources to better serve the growing needs of the community.

Shabbat morning, Mr. Savitsky will be giving a morning drasha (in-depth lecture on the Torah) at Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem (6519 Baily Road, Cote-Saint-Luc) at 10:30 a.m. on the topic of “Orthodox Jewry at the Crossroads-Will We Meet the Challenges?”

Following services at Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff (223 Harrow Crescent, Hampstead) at 11:45 a.m., Mr. Savitsky will speak at the shul’s kiddush on “Facing the Demands of Orthodox Jewry in the Next Generation.”

“I am thrilled that Mr. Savitsky has the opportunity to come to Montreal and spread the word about all the great work the OU does on behalf of the Jewish people worldwide” declared Rabbi Pinkus.
