IT’S ALL ELEMENTARY: OU PRESIDENT DR. SIMCHA KATZ VISITS KINDERGARTEN CLASS AT ROSENBAUM YESHIVA OF NORTH JERSEY
Orthodox Union President Dr. Simcha Katz of Teaneck, as a much-experienced grandfather, needs no introduction to young children. So when he visited the kindergarten class at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey in River Edge on Tuesday, he was right at home with the students – and as the photo makes clear, they were right at home with him. Dr. Katz brought with him goodie bags from NCSY | Jewish Youth Leadership, the OU’s international youth movement (the kids are still a bit young to join) and showed an OU Kosher video, “Kosher Kidz.”
It should come as no surprise that the affordability of yeshiva tuition is one of Dr. Katz’s major priorities at the Orthodox Union.
