OU SINGLES CONNECTIONS HOSTS “PRE-PURIM SHABBATON” IN MONSEY-WESLEY HILLS, MARCH 2-3; EARLY REGISTRATION CLOSES FEBRUARY 16
The Orthodox Union Singles Connection announces a “Pre-Purim Shabbaton” in the Monsey-Wesley Hills community for “Frum Orthodox” singles, ages 25-35 and 36-50, the weekend of March 2-3 (Parshat Tetzaveh/ Shabbat Zachor). The deadline for early registration is Thursday, February 16.
The Singles Shabbaton is a program of the OU Department of Community Services | Jewish Community Programs. Applications are available on its website, www.oucommunity.org.
“Men and women can enjoy a comfortable Shabbat with singles in the warm, vibrant Wesley Hills atmosphere. We will have a great Friday night oneg; play our fun-filled ‘Not the Dating Game;’ and provide opportunities to network with other professionals,” shared Frank Buchweitz, OU National Director of Community Services and Special Projects. “And, you’ll never know who you will meet,” he added.
Applications received before Thursday, February 16 are $100. Space permitting, applications are $125 after February 16. There will be home hospitality provided for participants. Price includes Friday night and Shabbat lunch meals; and Motzoai Shabbat program at Dave & Buster’s (game and video arcade) located in the Palisades Mall. Participants will also receive a $10 voucher toward games at Dave & Buster’s.
