The Orthodox Union’s Job Board has partnered with many organizations – such as FEGS Health and Human Services, Jewish Family Services of Bergen County, and the Hebrew Free Loan Society, among many other Jewish vocational and social services throughout the United States and Canada –to help spread its services to the largest possible audience. Now, the Job Board proudly announces its partnership with the Jewish Federation of Northeast Pennsylvania (JFNEPA).
The relationship will allow the Job Board, which maintains a website at www.ou.org/jobs that posts resumes of job-seekers and available jobs throughout North America and Israel, and JFNEPA to combine resources and present vital services and programs to its constituents in the area. Some planned events include resume-writing workshops, mini job fairs, and e-learning classes teaching marketable skills in the current economic climate.
Michael Rosner, Director of the OU Job Board, declared, “This alliance between the OU Job Board and the Jewish Federation of Northeast Pennsylvania furthers exemplifies the ongoing needs of various Jewish communities throughout the United States. We look forward to working with JFNEPA and we hope the OU Job Board can make a significant impact in helping the community needs.”
Haddassah Ganz, Assistant Director of JFNEPA, declared, “The Federation looks forward to participating in the OU Job Board to help foster employment in our region.
The Jewish Federation of Northeast Pennsylvania serves over 2,000 families in Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties. This year, its annual UJA-Federation campaign enabled it to allocate approximately $1,000,000 to its affiliate agencies: religious schools, Jewish Family Services, mikvah, the Jewish Community Center. And now, it has the assistance of the OU Job Board.
