OU ISRAEL CENTER VOLUNTEERS, BRINGING ENCOURAGEMENT TO PEOPLE IN THE NORTH, ASSIST IN CLEAN UP
FROM HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS

Upon the outbreak of the war against Hezbollah, the Orthodox Union’s Seymour J. Abrams OU Jerusalem World Center (the Israel Center) immediately geared up with a wide array of humanitarian programming to bring religious, emotional and financial sustenance to ease the anguish of children and adults who are in the range of Hezbollah missiles, and who must take refuge in bomb shelters.

Among these programs, the Israel Center, under the direction of Rabbi Avi Berman and Israel Center President Yitzchak Fund, sent more than 400 volunteers from bomb shelter to bomb shelter all over the north, bringing food and toiletries and much-needed counseling for adults and children, while running day camps and other activities.

In the photos below, volunteers assist in the clean up from the rocket and missile attacks.
