WORLD RENOWNED SPEAKERS FROM THREE CONTINENTS TO PARTICIPATE

NEW YORK – In an effort to make high quality Torah learning opportunities more accessible for women everywhere, the OU Women’s Initiative and OU Israel, both divisions of the Orthodox Union, along with the Office of the Chief Rabbi of the United Kingdom have launched a virtual speaker series for women focused on sharing Pesach ideas and inspiration.

The half-hour presentations will be pre-recorded and available at www.ou.org/women/video at 10:30 am ET. To receive an email reminder before each Shiur, visit https://www.ou.org/women/seder/.

“As we prepare for Pesach, it’s not just about getting our homes ready for Pesach but it’s also about spiritually preparing ourselves for the holiday,” said OU Women’s Initiative Founding Director Rebbetzin Dr. Adina Shmidman. “We’re exciting to provide a platform for women around the world to join and learn from these noted scholars.”

“We chose this virtual format so that we can offer the program to a broader range of participants and for them to participate whenever is convenient for them,” said Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Allen Fagin.

“During these trying times, we’re looking at creating as much digital Torah content as possible so that people can access it no matter where they are,” said Orthodox Union President Moishe Bane. “Our community is going through a trying time and Torah learning is the shining light which will guide us through this time. Words of Torah and Chizuk will help put us into the frame of mind for Pesach.”
