Orhtodox Union Hosted Luncheon Today with Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer

ORTHODOX UNION HOSTED LUNCHEON TODAY WITH MANATTAN BOROUGH PRESIDENT, SCOTT STRINGER

The Orthodox Union’s Young Leadership Cabinet (YLC), in conjunction with the OU’s Institute of Public Affairs, hosted the Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer, today at a luncheon in the law offices of Moshe Bane, OU Senior Vice President.

“This will hopefully be an ongoing conversation,” declared Ilana Prager, YLC Director. “Mr. Stringer spoke about issues concerning Manhattan and heard from those present on homeland security, education, housing, and job creation, among other topics.”

They were joined by rabbis from OU congregations in Manhattan; OU lay leaders; and, staff members from the National Jewish Council for Disabilities/Yachad, which involves people with special needs in the full spectrum of Jewish life; and, from ParnossahWorks, a job-placement program.
