Team Yachad will be once again be participating in the ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon and they are hoping to have their biggest turnout to date. The runners who take part raise much-needed funds that allow NJCD/Yachad to continue the great work it does promoting inclusion for those living with disabilities within the Jewish community. Each runner who registers as a Team Yachad member commits to raise $3,000. Yachad then takes care of round-trip airfare to Miami, hotel accommodations, the runner’s personalized training regimen, a Yachad Shabbaton, and more.
Yachad has unveiled the new www.teamyachad.com web site and exciting new features promise to be added over the coming weeks. A number of runners have already registered for the January 29 event. For any OU staff who are interested in participating, Yachad will pay the first $1,000 towards helping you reach your fundraising goal!
