The ABCs of Eating Out

Throughout the year we are often invited to eat in various venues, be it a restaurant, a shabbos kiddush, or at a catered event. When you want to ask for some information about the kosher status of the food, what are some of the questions that need to be addressed in order to feel comfortable eating there?

We need to be very careful what we put into our mouths, even and especially when we are away from home.
