OU Advocacy Urgent Community Briefing;

Engaging with your elected officials

As you know, over Simchas Torah 5784 in the early hours of the morning, Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, killing unknown numbers of civilians and soldiers and taking hostages into Gaza. In addition to tefillah and tzedakah, we can ensure that America is there to support Israel in its time of extreme need.  We will conduct briefings with OU community members across all age demographics, encouraging you to engage with your local elected officials in Washington, D.C. We will host a briefing next Tuesday outlining how to engage your elected officials.

Presented by Jason Grossman

Jason Grossman is the Director of Community Engagement for the OU Advocacy Center. Originally from Canada, Jason completed a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Politics and Governance at Ryerson University. He also has a Master’s certificate in project management from the Schulich School of Business. Prior to joining the OU, Jason served as the Associate Director of Public Affairs for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. There he led the Government Relations program for municipal governments and law enforcement. He assisted over twenty regions, cities, and towns in adopting the IHRA universal definition of antisemitism.
