HEART HEALTH

This session will provide:

  1. Overview of cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, hypertension, and congestive heart failure.
  2. Review of various cardiac testing modalities for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
  3. Discuss strategies to reduce and prevent the development of heart disease.

Presented by Sijun Kim, DO

Dr. Sijun Kim is a Board certified cardiologist at New York-Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Kim completed medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by residency training in internal medicine at Dartmouth in New Hampshire. He then went on complete fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Kim is also recognized as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
