SPIRIT: Dor L’Dor: Jewish Resilience as a Pathway to Lifelong Brain Health & Prevention

February 17 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Dor L’Dor: Jewish Resilience as a Pathway to Lifelong Brain Health & Prevention

The Dor L’Dor model—six pillars embedded in Jewish living that support resilience of the mind and spirit across the lifespan: Kehilla, Torah, Neshama, Shabbat, Chessed, and Mesorah, will be shared. We’ll connect these pillars to what research suggests protects brain health in later life—through community, lifelong learning, meaning, restorative rhythm, kindness, and intergenerational connection. The session will be practical, hopeful, and grounded in familiar Jewish experience.

Presented by Dr. Rachel Goodman

Dr. Rachel  Goodman is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment to a variety of populations. She is a member of the Ordres des Psychologues du Quebec, the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick, and the College of Alberta Psychologists.
