Every day for the past 15 years, Ellen Cutler a”h was the smiling face that greeted every NCSY employee and visitor to the OU. Her warmth and kindness set the tone for the day and lifted everyone’s spirits. She genuinely cared for each and every person who crossed her path and she will be missed greatly.
Rabbi Joel and Ellen Cutler were involved with youth throughout their marriage in the many communities they lived in. The importance of serving the youth within the Jewish community was successfully imparted to their son David Cutler, the director of NCSY Summer. Their dedication to bringing inspiration to teens everywhere is the foundation upon which NCSY Summer has been led.
In a fitting tribute to Ellen’s memory, NCSY Summer has established the Ellen Cutler a”h Summer Scholarship Fund to enable more teens to be impacted by her legacy.
