Please refer to these guidelines below to achieve a high-quality publicity headshot:
- Please use the most updated iPhone or Android device available.
- Stand against a clean white, or light colored, wall or background.
- Take the photo using portrait mode (or similar).
- Take the photo from at least 4 feet away. Someone else should be taking this photo -no selfies!
- The photo should be from the waist up, to at least one inch above the head.
- Makeup and bright clothing can help to clarify a photo, especially when it is being shrunk for an ad.
