Rabbi Daniel Walker has served as the Rabbi of the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in North Manchester – since 2008. He is also Chief Executive of the Friendship Circle, an organisation that helps people with disabilities make friends and integrate into the community and that works to change perceptions of disability in the Jewish and wider community.
He is a Director of the Manchester Beis Din, a Governor of King David Primary and High Schools and sits on the Management board of the JRC (Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester&Region) .

Sorella Abrahams is a passionate community builder, speaker, and Chabad Shlucha. Together with her husband Rabbi Aycee Abrahams, she co-founded Abrahams Tent and The Soul Centre – Chabad Randwick in Sydney, Australia. Born in the UK into a large Chabad family, Sorella has grown Abrahams Tent into an organisation supporting thousands across Sydney’s hospital network each year, and The Soul Centre has become a vibrant hub for Jewish life and connection. Drawing on her own life’s challenges, she turns pain into purpose, known for her warmth, creativity, and ability to transform compassion into practical action. A devoted wife and grateful mother of four, Sorella is passionate about teaching and empowering women, creative writing, public speaking, and building authentic relationships. Whether speaking to hundreds or sitting beside a single hospital bed, her mission remains the same: to ensure every person feels seen, valued, and never alone.
