150 Leave for Israel on Joint OU/RCA Solidarity Mission
To demonstrate our unyielding support and solidarity with the people of Israel during these difficult times, the
Orthodox Union (OU) and Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) are sending 150 people on a solidarity mission to Israel leaving this Sunday, August 12 (returning August 19).
The week-long mission will include tours and visits throughout the country, a solidarity rally at the OU Jerusalem World Center in the presence of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and an opportunity to show the people of Israel that we are not abandoning them in their time of need.
Those attending the mission will have the opportunity to meet with key leaders including:

Daniel Kurtzer, U.S. Ambassador to Israel;

Shaul Goldstein, Mayor of Etzion District;

Eli Suissa, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs;

Rechavam Zeevy, Minister of Tourism.
