OU Provides Shiurim for Young Professionals
With Renown Roshei Yeshiva

The Orthodox Union Young Professionals Group and the alumni associations of Yeshiva College, Stern College for Women and the Sy Syms School of Business will be offering a series of monthly shiurim for singles given by leading Roshei Yeshiva of Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS).

Held at Congregation Adereth El on East 29th Street in Manhattan, the YU/OU Torah Seminars for Singles program provides the opportunity for a little talk, a little food and a whole lot of Torah. And for frum (observant) Jews, it’s a winning combination.

"For Jewish singles who are committed to Torah learning and looking to find their bashert, the Roshei Yeshiva Torah Seminars provide two great opportunities," said Rabbi Raphael Butler, Executive Vice President of the OU. "They can learn from the community’s preeminent scholars and meet like-minded members of the opposite gender who share their passion for Jewish learning."

The seminars, which cost $5, are held once a month on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. On October 14, Rabbi Hershel Schachter will speak on Parashat Bereishit (Genesis portion); On November 18, Rabbi Hershel Reichman will give a lecture on Pre-Chanukah perspective; and on December 16, Rabbi Mordechai Willig will address Post-Chanukah perspective. For more information, please call (212) 613-8188.
