IN A DAZZLING PRESENTATION, RABBI SHLOMO EINHORN PROVIDES SYNAGOGUE PROGRAMMING GUIDANCE AT OU SEMINAR IN LOS ANGELES

In a dazzling presentation, Rabbi Shlomo Einhorn, a Los Angeles native who is now the rabbi of New York City’s West Side Institutional Synagogue and is the creator and director of WINGS, a division of the OU that provides consulting services to synagogues around the country, presented guidance and insights into synagogue programming at the Orthodox Union’s West Coast Region’s Stern Family Annual Synagogue and Community Leadership Seminar. The forum, held at OU West Coast headquarters in Los Angeles, drew an audience of rabbis, presidents, executive directors, youth directors, officers and board members of OU member synagogues and yeshiva day schools.

The event was held in memory of Emanuel Stern, a”h, the former president of Congregation Beth Jacob of Beverly Hills and a longtime supporter of OU West Coast.

Leadership from Congregation Beth Jacob of Beverly Hills, Young Israel of Century City, Congregation Shaare Tefila, Beth Jacob of Irvine, Beth Jacob of San Diego, Congregation Shaarey Zedek of North Hollywood, Bnai David Judea, Young Israel of North Beverly Hills, Calabasas Synagogue, YOLA, Westwood Kehila, Young Israel of Hancook Park and Aish Los Angeles were present.

“Rabbi Einhorn had the audience mesmerized,” declared Rabbi Alan Kalinsky, Director of the West Coast Region. “This was no surprise because he is on the cutting edge of synagogue development and programming, and is one of the most exciting and innovative young Orthodox rabbis today. Those in attendance came away with many ideas for implementing programming to excite and invigorate their congregations.”
